Here's a simple and (for me) essential strat tone control mod.
It gives a tone control where it's really needed, dedicated to the bridge pickup.
The other two pickups share the first tone control.
I like the bridge pickup rolled off to 7,
but don't want that for the middle or neck/mid positions,
so having the bridge pickup with its own unshared control is the solution.
(Note that a shared control effects 4 of the 5 positions.)
The neck/mid control is left at or near 10.
